A Note From The Road: Dam at Devil's Den - West Fork, Arkansas

www.takethebackroads.com #TaketheBackRoads Dear Henry,

We went to Devil's Den State Park for a hike - there are many hiking trails there, plus canoeing and camping facilities.

One of the cool features there is the dam, which was built back in the 1930's as a Civilian Conservation Corps project.  It isn't a cement dam but made of stacked stones and when the lake is full, water spills over the top, making a "waterfall".

It was a great place to spend the afternoon.

xoxo a.d.
